the text to an experience or feeling from your life.
DEFINE
a new word by using clues in the text and what you know.
REREAD
to check your understanding.
DESCRIBE
the pictures the words paint in your mind.
RETELL
the important parts in sequence.
SUMMARIZE
what the text is mostly about.
